“ It is important to me that dance be a visceral experience for both performer and audience. It is imperative for an exchange to take place. When a performer can live authentically in a moment, the viewer is more likely to connect to a personal feeling, memory or experience. They could be pulled out of a current state or drawn inward to reflect. I want to make work that examines and breaks boundaries between the eye of the viewer and the physical experience of performing.”
